Register for the next French courses organised by the Institute! We offer different types of courses according to your level: beginner, intermediate, preparation for the DELF B2 exams, private lessons or even Kinyarwanda lessons!
All our courses are held at the Institute’s Language Centre, during the week or at the weekend. You will find a list of all courses and the possibility to register directly online.
We are also available at the reception of the Language Centre to give you information and guide you to the course that best suits you. Whatever your level or need, we have a course for you!

Adult courses
Adult course - Morning
- Dates: from March, 3rd to April, 23rd
- Registration: from February, 17th to February, 28th
- Hours of teaching: 40 hours
- Schedules: Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to noon.
- Duration: 6 weeks
- Price: 70 000 RWF
- Material required for this course: Cosmopolite handbook - 30 000 RWF (extra, given on the first day of the course)
Adult Course - Evening

Conversation courses

- Registration: from February, 17th to 28th
- Hours of teaching: 12 hours
- Schedules: Classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays morning from 10 to 11:30am or evening from 5:30 to 7:00pm.
- Duration: 4 weeks

- For professionals and companies, we offer tailor-made training according to your specific objectives. Our teachers can come to your place of work or welcome you at the institute, depending on your availability.

DELF B2 preparation

Increase your chances of passing the exam by 30% and complete your professional project or studies!
During this course, you will receive advice, exercises and personalised corrections to prepare you for the DELF B2 exam session.
For 5 weeks, a teacher will accompany you and help you to progress in order to pass the exam with complete peace of mind.

- Registration: from May, 3rd to 23rd

Kinyarwanda course

- Schedules: Classes are held on Tuesdays from 5.45pm to 7.45pm for level A1.2 and Mondays and Thursdays, from 5.45pm to 7.45pm for level A1

How to register?
Registration for our courses is only possible at the reception of our Language Centre or online via your student area
I have never learned French before.
Choose the complete French course for beginners (either during the week or on Saturdays) and start a new adventure!
You can register online by creating your student account, or at the reception desk of our Language Centre.
I am a student at the French Institute of Rwanda.
Tell your teacher directly that you wish to continue learning French after your course, or go to the Language Centre reception desk.
I have already taken French classes, but I am not a student at the French Institute of Rwanda.
Then choose the French course for all levels (either weekdays or Saturdays) and start a new adventure! You can register online by creating your online student account, or on site at the Language Centre reception.
After registering, you will be able to take a free online test to see in which class you would feel most comfortable according to your level.
