The morning French course at the Institut Français du Rwanda is ideal for making rapid progress and developing skills you can use in your daily and professional life.
Classes take place every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00, over 6 weeks, with an active learning approach. Learners are encouraged to speak, interact, and practice actively in order to progress naturally in the four language skills.

COURSE CONTENT
The program follows the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), in line with the requirements of international French language exams. Each level, from A1 to C1, helps develop the following skills:
Listening comprehension
Speaking–Monology and interaction
Reading comprehension
Writing skills
FRENCH LEVELS
A1
Beginner
Understand and use simple everyday phrases.
A2
Elementary
Communicate in simple and predictable situations.
B1
Intermediate
Express yourself with ease and understand more complex texts.
B2
Upper-inter
Communicate clearly and develop ideas on many topics.
C1
Advanced
Master French fluently and communicate on complex subjects.

PLACEMENT TEST
Before being assigned to a course, you must take a placement test to ensure you are placed in the class that best matches your skills.
Reduced price
The Centre Culturel Francophone offers a discounted rate starting from the second member of the same family enrolled in the same session, subject to a single payment. The discount applies to the lowest-priced offer and is renewed for each new session.
COURSE MATERIALS
The Institut Français du Rwanda uses the Cosmopolite textbook (36,500 RWF – 41,000 RWF) to support your French learning.
It is not included in the course fee and must be purchased at the reception before or on your first lesson.
PAYMENT METHODS
● Card payment at the reception
● Bank transfer or deposit (details provided on the invoice)
● No cash or mobile money payments
Payment must be made within 3 days after receiving the invoice.
